About the project
Project purpose
The Carnation Park concept creates a shared outdoor destination at a road-bounded site in Lynwood. Its circular plan brings active recreation, community events, and quieter landscape spaces into one recognizable public place.
Design approach
iARCH organizes the proposal around a curved amphitheater and shaded central pavilion. A playground occupies the northern portion, while gardens and walking routes offer quieter places to spend time. A perimeter path connects the spaces with seating, pedestrian lighting, and palm planting.
Concept features
Drought-tolerant planting and water-efficient landscape systems form part of the proposal. The portfolio presents a concept design; the amphitheater, playground, and landscape features are proposed elements.
