About the project
Corridor purpose
The Imperial Highway study proposes a more coherent landscape identity along the center median between I-710 and Atlantic Boulevard in Lynwood.
Design approach
iARCH's concept uses palms, shrubs, and coordinated planting to give the roadway a more consistent visual character. The median is considered within its surrounding urban setting, with traffic circulation and pedestrian safety identified as project objectives.
Design stage
The portfolio presents a conceptual landscape proposal. Safety and circulation improvements are design objectives, rather than measured outcomes of a completed project.
