About the project
Completed in 2023, the Northwest Park Restroom Remodel renewed an existing public amenity for the City of La Puente. iARCH brought architectural, structural, and MEP design together to address aging building components and give the facility a coordinated, refreshed appearance.
A practical renewal
The renovation scope included interior and exterior painting, repairs to concrete floors and masonry walls, replacement of deteriorated fascia, and updates to doors and openings. New plumbing fixtures, restroom accessories, and toilet partitions were paired with LED lighting to support everyday public use and maintenance.
Coordinated building improvements
Roof work included replacement roofing and screening, skylight replacement and protective steel grids, and intermediate framing support within the existing roof structure. The design coordinated these improvements with the building's existing form and exposed roof framing.
From design through construction
iARCH's scope encompassed project management and City coordination; architectural, structural, and MEP design; plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates; bidding assistance; responses to construction RFIs; and construction observations with progress reporting to the City.
