Infrastructure Architects, Inc. (iARCH) has submitted construction documents to the City of Bell Gardens for a new restroom and storage building at Veterans Park. The submission marks the project’s transition from design development into City review.
A new amenity for Veterans Park
The project is a new-construction restroom and storage facility within Veterans Park in Bell Gardens, California. iARCH’s work brings the building design, plans, specifications and construction cost estimating together in a coordinated construction-document package.
Designing for the park setting
The architectural proposal combines low, white building volumes with curved entry portals and slender perimeter shade screens. The project renderings show the building alongside paved approaches, planting and the park’s outdoor recreation setting.
The entry forms give the small public building a recognizable identity. The model views explore how those forms connect with the roof massing, doors and shaded building edges.
From model studies to construction documents
Five design-phase 3D model images document the development of the building’s geometry and architectural details. Three project renderings illustrate the proposed exterior in its park context. These images are available in the project’s design gallery, with the model studies grouped separately from the project presentation views.
Current status: City review
The construction documents have recently been submitted to the City of Bell Gardens for review. The project remains in the agency-review phase, and the images accompanying this update illustrate the proposed design.
